Carrots – 150 g

Onions – 250 g

Garlic – 1-2 heads

Vegetable oil (for frying) – 3-4 tablespoons.

Seasoning for pilaf – to taste

Water – 640 ml

Salt – to taste

Cooking process

Plov is a fragrant and satisfying dish that is present in the kitchens of many peoples. There are many recipes for cooking pilaf, where instead of traditional rice use other cereals, and instead of lamb – beef, pork, chicken or fish. A very delicious version of pilau is obtained from pearl barley, especially if you cook it in a multivariate. Include in your menu dishes from this nourishing cereal and make sure that inexpensive products can be useful and mouth-watering.

We will wash the meat, cut it and cut it into small cubes.

In the cup multivarki (I have – Redmond, power – 860 W, bowl – 4 liters) we pour in the oil, we put the meat and fry with the lid open on the “Zharka” program until a slight blanching. Do not forget to stir the contents periodically.

Onions cut into quarter-rings, carrots – straw. Add to the bowl and continue to fry for another 5-7 minutes, stirring. If necessary, add a little more oil.

Perlovsku well washed (pre-soak it is not necessary) and poured into the bowl. Add salt, pepper and seasoning for pilau.

We pour hot water. In the middle, we put 1 or 2 washed raw garlic cloves. We choose the program “Pilaf” or “Quenching”, the temperature is 100 degrees. I cooked on the program “Quenching”, after 1 hour and 50 minutes the pearl barley was ready.
