I want to share one of the ways of cooking dumplings – in a frying pan. The recipe is simple and allows you to “fry” a quantity of pelmeni, which is placed on the surface of the frying pan in one layer, i.е. 2-3 servings.
To taste, dumplings in a frying pan are slightly different from dumplings cooked in a traditional way in a saucepan in water. They do not come with such a boiled dough, as in water, and more like dumplings for a couple. If you want to get some ruddy brown, then after boiling the water off the frying pan, let the dumplings fry slightly while stirring.
Serve dumplings with sauces to taste: with sour cream, mustard, ketchup, adzhika. You can take note of the recipe for some sauce from the site.
In a frying pan you can fry any dumplings: purchased or homemade, meat, fish, mushroom or vegetable … Prepare them and frying oil, for example, vegetable.
Fry the frying pan lightly, grease with vegetable oil and heat.
Put the dumplings in one layer on a hot frying pan. Lightly fry them on both sides.
Pour hot water into the frying pan so that it reaches about the middle of the dumplings.
When the water boils, then reduce the fire to medium and close the pan with a lid. If the cover does not have a steam outlet, leave a small slit.
After about 5-7 minutes, water will boil away, and dumplings will be ready.
You can still lightly fry them for a mouth-watering color. Serve dumplings, cooked in a frying pan, with sauces to your taste. At me a portion of dumplings is accompanied by a fragrant piquant butter and garlic.
