If you do not have the time or do not know how to work with the yeast test, then this option is an excellent wand-wand for beginners or busy housewives. Baking puff pastry with cottage cheese in the oven can be quickly, not at all difficult, and on the way out we’ll get almost croissants))) with fragrant vanilla cottage cheese.
To prepare pies made of puff pastry with cottage cheese in the oven, we will need all the products listed. I took one fairly large egg, and I had enough to add it to cottage cheese and grease the surface of the patties. If the eggs are dining, then take 2 pieces.
The egg should be shaken with a fork in a container, then pour the part into curd and leave it for lubrication of the patties.
Combine the cottage cheese, sugar, a pinch of salt, vanillin and a portion of the beaten egg. A good mix. Sugar is added to taste, but you need to bear in mind that the puff pastry does not contain sugar, so you need to sweeten the cottage cheese a little more than you would normally do. Of course, the best and more delicate taste is market cottage cheese, it is without acid.
The yeast puff must be thawed at room temperature. Then release from packaging.
And roll out a fairly thin layer. From what thickness of dough you roll out, will depend on the number of pies.
Cut the dough into flat squares.
In the center of each square of the test lay cottage cheese filling obliquely. Make lateral notches on both sides of the square.
Form a sort of cheesecake, passing the ends of the test into the resulting slits. Dangling the tips of the dough to hide under the bottom.
Lay the workpieces on a baking tray lined with parchment or oiled. Give the pies a little time for proofing in a warm place – about 15 minutes. Of this quantity of ingredients, I got 13 full-baked pies and one more – the fourteenth – symbolic.
Then grease the patties with the remaining egg. Bake cakes of puff pastry with cottage cheese in a preheated oven to 180 degrees until ruddy. Bake time adjust by the oven.
Pies should be allowed to cool slightly and can be served immediately for tea or coffee. Children can be served with milk.
Baking turns very fragrant, crispy and at the same time soft. Pleasant!
