Ostrich meat is a low-calorie product, with a low cholesterol content, which is why it is great for diet food.
In appearance and taste, ostrich meat is very similar to beef.
This product is stewed, baked, fried. Today we will bake the ostrich fillet in foil: this is more useful and, importantly, delicious. Excellent sausage replacement.
So, for the preparation of the dish we will prepare the products according to the list.
My file, wipe off with a paper towel. On all sides, we smear with a mixture for the steak. As a rule, it contains salt in its composition, so I do not additionally salt.
Garlic is rubbed on a small grater. We will smear them with fillets.
It would be good in this form to leave the meat for a couple of hours, or even better – at night. But I bake right away.
Lay the fillets on foil, over the meat crumbled bay leaf.
We wrap the meat. We put it on a baking sheet and send it to the oven.
Bake at a temperature of 190-200 degrees an hour and a half. Focus on your oven.
Meat is ready, if from it follows a light juice.
Cut it immediately does not make sense: it will disintegrate. The meat should be allowed to cool completely, then wrap it in a clean foil and send it to the refrigerator (ideally – overnight). During this time the meat is stabilized and it can be cut into thin pieces.
We serve ostrich fillet baked in foil, either with BBQ sauce or with vegetables, or simply put a slice on black bread and enjoy a dietary product.

Ostrich fillet – 500 g
Mixture for steaks – 1 tbsp.
