Мачанка (мочанка) is a tasty and satisfying Belarusian dish, which resembles a thick sauce with meat.

Ingredients

Ingredients for sauce:

Pork – 500 g

Fat is fresh – 100 g

Onion – 2 pcs.

Garlic – 3 teeth

Sausage home – 170 g

Smoked breast – 100 g

Flour – 2 tablespoons

Salt – to taste

Pepper c / m – to taste

Bay leaf – 1-2 pcs.

Hot water – as needed (see recipe)

For pancakes:

Water 250 ml

Egg of chicken – 2 pcs.

Flour – 4 tbsp. on horseback

Sugar – 1 tbsp.

Baking powder – 0.5 tbsp.

Vegetable oil – 2-3 tablespoons.

Salt – 2 pinch

Cooking process

Мачанка (мочанка) is a dish of the Belarus national cuisine. Many dishes of Belarusians are called by the way they are used or prepared. To wet, dunk the pancakes into the sauce. As in Ukraine borsch, and in Belarus mochanka is prepared in different ways. At one end of the village it is prepared differently than in the other.
