Ingredients
Peas – 1,5-2 cups
Pork – 600 g
Olive oil – 1 tbsp. l.
Bow – 1 head
Carrots – 1 pc.
Italian herbs with paprika – 1,5-2 tsp.
Salt – to taste
Cooking process
I propose a recipe for delicious pea porridge with meat. Cook it to the desired degree of digestion and with spices to your liking (herbs, peppers). In my version, it is well-brewed, and as a spice – dry Italian herbs with paprika.
To make such a porridge, it’s easiest to take chopped peas. However, what is chopped is that the whole must be soaked for several hours, and keep in mind that its amount increases in volume by about two times.
Prepare peas, pork, onions, carrots, vegetable oil and spices.
Pieces of pork fry from all sides in vegetable oil.
Add pieces of onions and carrots, spices and salt, put it out together for a couple of minutes.
Then add the cooked (soaked and washed) peas and pour the water so that it was above the pea level by 1.5 – 2 cm. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat to medium and cook under the lid until ready, or rather, to the desired degree of digestion . Some people like porridge with whole peas, someone suborned, and someone almost puree.
Pea porridge with meat is ready.
At the request of the filing of pea porridge with pork can be filled with some oil and sprinkled with fresh herbs.
