There is nothing more delicious than homemade cakes! But at the mention of the fact that you must bake a cake for a holiday, the imagination usually draws a picture of two, or even three-day preparation of delicacies. First cakes, then their impregnation, whipping cream, preparing jewelry, assembly, etc. With a responsible approach, this is a rather laborious process. But not when preparing a waffle cake from ready-made cakes! To my surprise, it turned out that such a dessert is very simple to cook, so you can pamper yourself not only on a holiday!
Today we will prepare a cake of ready-made waffle crusts with a delicate cream of bananas and boiled condensed milk. To decorate the cake, I decided to make small meringues, for which I took the proteins, salt and sugar – I got air dessert with a margin, so you can safely reduce the amount of these ingredients by half or be safe and take away only the most successful ones. The remaining meringues can be left as a bonus to the cake. You can also crumble the remains and sprinkle the sides of the cake, or add between the waffle layers …
But first you need to make a wafer cake! The main ingredient is ready-made waffle cakes. For cream – butter, banana (preferably very ripe) and boiled condensed milk – it must be cooked on low heat for 2 hours or purchased immediately in the store. But I honestly do not like the taste of boiled condensed milk from the store. Another banana we need to decorate the finished cake. So, let’s get started.
I start with a meringue in advance. I separate the proteins from the yolks. To the proteins I pour a pinch of salt and start whipping at a small speed of the mixer.
Then increase the speed and gradually add sugar.
Beat in this way until the formation of hard peaks, the squirrels will perfectly keep the shape. Check it can be like this: when turning the bowl meringue will not escape anywhere 🙂
I set the bezes out of the resulting mass on a baking tray using a pastry syringe or two spoons. Drying in the oven for 15 minutes at 100 degrees, then reduce to 60 and wait for the drying of the mereng. Depending on the oven it will take from 40 minutes to an hour.

When the cakes are laid, cover the whole cake with the remaining cream, cover the top and sides.
Banana cut into circles for decoration.
Decorate the resulting cake to taste and clean in the refrigerator for a couple of hours!
