Kundums with mushrooms are lean dumplings of triangular shape. A delicious and healthy dish for vegans and vegetarians.

Ingredients

Flour – 2 tbsp. + for padding;

Boiling water – 1 glass;

Olive oil – 2 tbsp;

Champignons – 300 grams;

Buckwheat – 1 glass;

Onion – 1 pc;

Vegetable oil for frying;

Salt – to taste;

Black pepper powder – to taste;

Greenery.

Cooking process

Kundums are a dish of Russian cuisine. As a filling in this recipe, buckwheat (or rice) with mushrooms is used. Kundums are more delicious if you use forest mushrooms, but you can cook them with mushrooms. Also sometimes in the filling add hard-boiled and finely chopped eggs.

Prepare the necessary products.

In a bowl, pour boiling water. Pour in the olive oil. Put a glass of flour at once and stir the dough well with a spoon. Add another glass of flour and knead the dough with your hands. Cover the dough with a towel and let it stand for 30 minutes.

Buckwheat rinse well and boil until cooked.

Finely chop onion. Mushrooms rinse well and finely chopped. Fry onion in vegetable oil first, then add mushrooms to it. Fry all together for about 7-8 minutes. Salt well. Pepper to taste.

Mix the buckwheat with onions and mushrooms.

Dough thinly roll.

Cut the dough into squares. Put the filling in the center of each square.

Connect the opposite corners of the square. Connect the sides. You should get a triangle with a filling.

There are several ways to further prepare kundyumov. You can simply boil them in salted water, just as you cook dumplings. Or you can put them on a greased baking sheet.

Fry the kundum in the oven at 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes.

Then put in a pot or a convenient form (to be able to cover with a lid). Pour kundyumy with hot water (or mushroom broth). Put the scented and bitter peppercorns. Salt well. And simmer kundyumy in the pot under the lid for another 15 minutes in the oven.
