What could be easier than bread with garlic? But even here there are many options and secrets of cooking. After all, you do not have to overdry the bread, do not over-oil it. You can cook in the oven, but today we have plans – fried bread with garlic. Such bread is very good to serve borscht or broth. Beer lovers will enjoy such an appetizer. If you cut the bread into cubes – these croutons are perfect for salads.
So, let’s start cooking. For roasted bread with garlic, obviously, these products are enough. But if we want to cook more and a delicious sauce – we will take sour cream and dill. Bread is better to take black or gray, although with white, I think it will be good. I already had black bread in slicing, but I cut the gray one thicker.
Today we will prepare two variants of garlic toasts. The first is the simplest. We will cut bread and fry in vegetable oil from two sides. So that the bread is quickly crusted and does not absorb a lot of oil, it should be hot. Fry about a minute from each side.
Lay the bread on a board or on a plate and we rub two sides of a clove of garlic on both sides.
This fried bread with garlic is great for making sandwiches with sprats, with fresh vegetables or with cheese.
And now we will prepare the second variant of fried bread with garlic. Take 5-6 cloves of garlic, passed through the press, add half a teaspoon of vegetable oil and a pinch of salt.
Stir the garlic paste and spread it with slices of bread. We put the bread in a pile, press it with your hand. Let’s leave the bread soaked for 10 minutes. After five minutes, swap the top and bottom slices so that they are evenly soaked with garlic paste.
After 10 minutes, clean the garlic paste with a knife, otherwise it will burn in oil when frying. We cut slices of bread across, about 1.5-2 cm.
Let’s spread the vegetable oil and lay the bread slabs. After a minute we’ll turn it over and fry it on the other side.
While the bread sticks are fried on both sides, quickly cook a delicious sauce. Sour cream mixed with finely chopped dill and two cloves of garlic, add a pinch of salt.
