Cooking process
A universal yeast dough, kneaded with kefir or yogurt, is suitable for pies, patties, bagels with filling, open bowls and pizza with any filling.
Today on the agenda – homemade pizza with ham, a couple of slices which are able to feed your fill and snack with a drink to replace a full dinner.
For the dough, take flour, dry yeast, salt, kefir and vegetable oil, for the filling – ham, cheese, cherry tomatoes, tomato sauce.
Sifted flour (the first 300 g) is mixed with a large pinch of salt and a portion of dry yeast. In another container, lightly beat the warmed and curled kefir with vegetable (preferably olive) oil.
We pour the flour mixture to a warm liquid, proceed to the batch. Add small amounts of flour.
We knead a soft, pliable dough for pizza, roll the bowl, cover with a food bag / film and leave for half an hour near a heat source.
“Rest” yeast dough for pizza shift to the countertop and a little kneaded.
Draw a round cake with a diameter of 45 cm (or two or three smaller size). The dough easily follows the fingers, does not stick and does not tear, there is no special need for the rolling pin. We put the workpiece in a mold or on a baking sheet, on the circumference we raise the low side. Lubricate with tomato sauce, if desired, sprinkle with dried basil or other fragrant grass.
Load the filling from almost transparent plates of cheese, ham and tomatoes – evenly distributed throughout the area. For 25-30 minutes we send it to a hot oven, bake pizza with ham until melted crust at a temperature of 190 degrees.
We scatter several sheets of some greenery.
We serve homemade pizza with ham immediately, we share in large portions – a pleasant appetite!
