Cooking process
Punch can be an alcoholic or non-alcoholic cocktail, but always with the addition of fruit or fruit juice and a large amount of flavored spices. This drink I associate with Christmas, but, of course, it can be cooked at any time of the year, when on a cool evening you want something warm-aromatic.
For the preparation of non-alcoholic cranberry punch, fresh or frozen cranberries are suitable. For a more intense flavor, it is advisable to use fresh ginger (not ground), the size of the slice is about 2 centimeters.
Ginger clean and cut into slices, 1.5 orange and 1 lemon cut into thick slices. We remove the core from the apples and cut them into 4-6 parts.
I used frozen cranberries, it is not necessary to defrost it, we will postpone one handful of cranberries for decorating a ready-made drink. A couple of tangerines, the remaining lemon and a half of the orange cut into thin circles – they will also be needed to serve a ready-made punch.
In a large saucepan (volume – at least 3 liters) we pour water, add sugar, all spices, sliced fruit and ginger.
On medium heat, bring to a boil, turn down the fire, cover the pan with a lid and cook for 5 minutes with a weak boil. Then remove the pan from the fire and leave the punch under the lid to infuse for about 1 hour. During this time, the punch will cool down to the temperature when it can already be drunk without burning, and will insist: spices and fruits will give their tastes and flavors to the drink.
Strain the punch, pour it into glasses, add slices of lemon, orange and mandarin, as well as cranberries and mint to decorate each portion of the drink. We serve the drink warmly.
Possibly, the non-alcoholic cranberry punch seems to be too sweet, but after adding fresh citrus slices the taste is balanced, and a sweet drink with sour and bitterness will be produced simultaneously.

Warm cranberry-citrus punch with the addition of aromatic spices. A warming drink on a gloomy and cool day.
Ingredients
Water – 2 l
Cranberries – 500 g
Orange – 2 pcs.
Lemon – 2 pcs.
Apple – 2 pcs.
Brown sugar – 200 g
