Chicken drumsticks – 6-7 pcs.
Potatoes – 700 g
Salt – 2 tsp.
Spices – 1 tsp.
Vegetable oil – 3 items of l.
Onions – 1-2 pcs.

Cooking process
Potatoes with shins and cheese in the oven – just a universal dish. I cook it often, and the occasions are different – an ordinary family dinner or a friendly get-together. If I suddenly decide to cook this dish for a New Year’s holiday, then I take a bigger pan. Although it is better to cook for a day or two, since the cheese crust becomes dry and the dish is not so delicious. Of course, you can always warm up the potatoes with chicken by placing the pan in the oven, but then the dish may dry up.
To prepare potatoes with chicken legs with cheese in the oven, prepare all the ingredients on the list. The shins can be chilled or frozen. Defrost the chicken preferably at room temperature.
Peel potatoes and wash, then cut into thin slices. You can take a special grater, so that all circles have the same thickness.
Form for baking with high sides or a pan, cover with foil, sprinkle it with vegetable oil. Then lay out the potatoes, without forgetting each layer of salting and pouring spices.
Onions cut into halves of rings and lay on top of the potatoes. Next lay the chicken drumsticks, they also salt and sprinkle with spices for the chicken.
Put the form in a preheated oven to 180-190 degrees, you can cover the form with a lid or foil for the first 20 minutes of baking. On any grate, grate hard cheese – any sort will suit, but it is better to give preference to salted or spiced, it has a brighter taste.
After 20 minutes, remove the foil and bake the potatoes with shins and cheese in the oven for another 10 minutes, then sprinkle with grated cheese and leave in a hot oven (180 degrees) for another 10 minutes.
A delicious dinner of potatoes and chicken drumsticks with cheese is ready. Serve immediately, while the dish is hot – then it is juicier and more aromatic.
