Fried duck breast is a real meat delicacy that you can cook with your own at home. This dish in the restaurant is very expensive, and you will get it at a market price if you buy chilled duck breasts on the market or in a supermarket.
Remember that before frying, leave them for 20-30 minutes with grated spices, and fry only for 3 minutes on each side, so that the middle of the breasts remain pink. This condition is mandatory, as heavily roasted duck meat becomes dense, it is difficult to chew!
When serving fried duck breast, fresh greens and some sweet ingredient are used: jam, jam, confiture. It is because of the combination of fatty duck meat, high-quality salted, peppered, with a sweet component and the taste of this dish is appreciated.
So, prepare the necessary ingredients. Duck breast wash in water, remove from the skin of the remains of feathers, if any.
Carefully cut the skin on the breast with diagonal strips. Then cut the diagonal strips in the other side, so that the skin turned out cut diamonds.
Salt thoroughly and pepper the breast, rub the spices directly into the cuts, so that the meat “pulls” them into themselves. Leave for 30 minutes in this form at room temperature.
Heat the frying pan and pour in the vegetable oil. Heat the oil to maximum. If you have a grilled pan, then use it. Put duck breast in boiling oil with skin facing downwards – this is a must! First, fry the side with the skin. Cook for about 3 minutes.
After this, turn the breast over to the other side and fry the same amount of time. As soon as the time runs out, remove the breast on a plate and cover it with a deep inverted bowl, leave it for 5-7 minutes for the meat to “come down”. You can also wrap the roasted breast in foil and leave it for 10 minutes.
After the specified time, slice the warm roasted duck breast with slices, serve on a plate with fresh herbs, fresh berries and berry confiture.
