Today I want to share with you a simple way of harvesting apples for the winter. Prepare a delicious and healthy apple puree without sugar.
Cooked on this recipe, apple puree turns aromatic and delicate and has a pleasant, natural sweetness with barely perceptible notes of spices and caramel.
This workpiece is universal. Puree from apples without sugar can be used as a filling for baking, and additions to beverages, and in the first place – as a useful, easy, dietary and very tasty independent dessert. Try it!
To prepare apple puree without sugar for the winter, prepare the ingredients in the list. Apples for mashed potatoes without sugar choose with sourness, rather acidic than sweet, crispy and juicy – mashed potatoes prepared from such apples, will turn out to be the most vivid to taste and less demanding of storage conditions.
Apples rinse and remove stems and seed boxes. Cut apples, immediately proceed to their heat treatment (so they do not have time to darken) or soak in cold water with the addition of a small amount of lemon juice or citric acid.
Cut the apples into quarters and bake in the oven at a temperature of 180 degrees, until soft (about 30-40 minutes).
Or cut into large pieces, add a little water (a little more than a quarter or half a glass), bring to a boil and on low heat extinguish 10-20 minutes, until soft.
Readiness of apples is checked by punching pieces with a fork. If the plug comes in easily, the pieces are soft – ready.
I like to combine both options for processing apples. From stewed apples you get an airy, juicy mashed potatoes, and the addition of baked apples gives the taste a light caramel note.
Prepared apples grind to a state of mashed potatoes. You can use a blender for this purpose, and to get an even smoother texture – wipe the apples through a sieve.
If desired, add spices to the prepared puree to taste. I add a little ground cinnamon.
Again, place the mashed potatoes in a saucepan. Stir constantly, bring the puree from apples without sugar to a boil.
Pour the hot apple sauce over the jars. Banks in advance, carefully wash with soda and sterilize in any convenient way (for steam, in the oven or microwave).
Cover the jars with the blank with lids and place in a saucepan with warm water. Bring the water to a boil and sterilize the jars for 20 minutes in boiling water.
Then cover the jars with mashed potatoes, roll them up and wrap them until it cools down completely.
Apple puree without sugar for the winter is ready. Tasty winter for you!
