Today I will share a recipe for pancakes from oatmeal with raspberries. There are two ways to prepare this dish. The first is to boil the porridge, cool a little, make a dough and fry the pancakes, so I’ll cook. The second, the most relevant and simple – in oatmeal porridge, left after breakfast or stale in the fridge, add the rest of the ingredients and make a new dish!
So, for the preparation of pancakes, we will need ready-made oatmeal or milk and oatmeal, from which we will quickly cook porridge. Also take salt and sugar, flour and baking powder, egg and any flavor additive.
In a saucepan combine milk and oat flakes. We prepare the porridge according to the instructions. I used Hercules and cooked it for 15-20 minutes. You can use any flakes that you just like and from which you usually cook porridge.
The porridge is ready. I got it pretty thick.
We shift the oatmeal into a convenient bowl in order to cool it. At this stage, connect those who have already had porridge.
We add an egg, a pinch of salt, sugar to taste. Do not overdo it with salt and sugar, if you added them by pre-cooking porridge.
Add the flour to the mass. Its quantity will depend on the density of the porridge. I had about 6 tablespoons. If the porridge initially turned out to be liquid, flour will be needed less and vice versa. Also sprinkle the baking powder.
To the dough for fritters of oatmeal, add the flavor additive. I took the frozen raspberries. You can do without additives and go to the frying pan.
In a frying pan heated with vegetable oil, we spread the dough, forming a fritters with a tablespoon. The dough turned out thick, but because the fritters do not spread, they quickly grasp.
Fry fritters from the oatmeal porridge on a small fire from two sides to a ruddy crust. If the products turned out to be very greasy, put them on a napkin and dry it a little. Of course, it is better to cook on an anti-stick frying pan without oil at all.
Ready pancakes spread on the dish and serve hot to the table.
We decorate to taste. We eat with sour cream, jam, honey!
