Now mega cake “Red velvet” is popular. I already lost count of how many times I did it.
The dough is very simple to cook, especially if the kitchen has a stationary mixer. All we load into the bowl and whisk until smooth.
I bake three cakes with a diameter of 24 cm. You can bake in one form, and then cut. But baking separately each, we get a flat cake, without cracks (I like this option).
I always make a cake “Red velvet” with cream cheese cream. You can eat it right away, but if you give yourself a cake, then it’s just a taste bomb!
As for the decoration. Here everything depends on your reason and imagination. I decorated the cake with chocolate and fruits. In general, you can disguise this beautiful cake for any decoration.
Our ingredients for the dough.
We put the cup on the scales. First we fall asleep all the loose ingredients.
Then add the liquid components.
Beat the dough with a mixer until smooth.
The form is covered with baking paper. Pour the dough.
If you bake three cakes, go for 450 grams of dough, for each.
Bake cakes at a temperature of 170 degrees until cooked. Approximately 12-15 minutes.
Walk with a spatula along the edge of the mold and remove the cake, remove the paper and cool the cake on the grate.
The crusts are very gentle, it’s necessary to work with them neatly.
Ideally – wrap the cakes in a film (each separately) and stand for at least a couple of hours.
I bake cakes in the evening, and in the morning I collect the cake.
To be absolutely beautiful, I cut off the edges. You can and do not do this.
Cream for cream should necessarily be cold.
Cream the whisk until steadily peaks.
Add cheese and powdered sugar.
Mix again until smooth.
It is more convenient to collect the cake in a split ring. If there is not one, you can in the usual way.
On the cake lay out a third of the cream, level.
Cover with a second crust and again spread the cream.
We close with the third cake. We remove the ring.
Apply the cream on the sides and top of the cake.
We spread the cream and decorate.
