Because the crust at the cookie is crispy, and the apple cubes inside are soft. And if this is a cookie with apples and nuts, then there are already three whole products, quite different “for bite.”

On 1 not a small apple we take somewhere 50 gr. nuts. For the test – 150 gr. flour, 100 gr. granulated sugar, 100 gr. butter, 1 tsp. cinnamon and 3 yolks or 1 egg and 1 yolk. In short, 1 egg – a little, 2 – already a lot.

Nuts are roughly chopped. This, in general, is the most time-consuming operation in the entire recipe. But with a large, not ground nut, the consistency is, of course, more interesting than with small ones!
