Have you ever tried a shortbread cookie with large pieces of apple? You know, it turns out, it turns out a very interesting consistency! Because the crust at the cookie is crispy, and the apple cubes inside are soft. And if this is a cookie with apples and nuts, then there are already three whole products, quite different “for bite.”
On 1 not a small apple we take somewhere 50 gr. nuts. For the test – 150 gr. flour, 100 gr. granulated sugar, 100 gr. butter, 1 tsp. cinnamon and 3 yolks or 1 egg and 1 yolk. In short, 1 egg – a little, 2 – already a lot.
Nuts are roughly chopped. This, in general, is the most time-consuming operation in the entire recipe. But with a large, not ground nut, the consistency is, of course, more interesting than with small ones!
Mix butter with a mixer and granulated sugar until smooth.
Add eggs, mix with a mixer until smooth.
Add flour and cinnamon, mix the dough.
Cut the cubes with a side about half a centimeter of apples.
We mix nuts and apples into the dough.
We form 9-12 pechenyuh.
Bake biscuits with apples and nuts in a preheated oven with a temperature of 180C for 20 minutes at an average level with air circulation. After turning off the oven, we give the liver to go to it for another 5-10 minutes – this makes the apples softer, and the crust – more crispy.
You can already be directly lukewarm!
