To cook fish, we need mackerel, onions, carrots, salt, sugar, vinegar 9%, bay leaves, peppercorns and fragrant, a set of spices for pickling.

Ingredients for marinating mackerel

Remove the mackerel from all the viscera and remove the head, rinse well with running water and cut into pieces 1.5-2 cm.

In a saucepan, prepare a marinade. Pour in the water and add all the spices: salt, sugar, seasoning for pickling, bay leaf and pepper. Put the onions cut into half rings and carrots in circles.
