I want to share another recipe with the original combination of ingredients. It is a salted salad with mackerel, apple, canned corn and frozen green beans. He gave me a variant of salted herring, apple, peas and corn for this composition, but somehow, for lack of two of these ingredients at hand, their replacement happened and, in my opinion, successful.

Salted mackerel is used purchased in the form of preserves in oil. Onions are needed onions, preferably purple, and apples – with sourness. Instead of lemon juice, you can use fruit vinegar (apple, etc.).

To prepare this fish salad, prepare the ingredients in the list.

Ingredients for Salted Salmon Mackerel

Onion finely chop half rings, cut apples into thin slices or straws, sprinkle with lemon juice, sprinkle with sugar and leave to marinate for 10 minutes.

Frozen beans boil a couple of minutes in boiling water, and then discard and rinse with cold water.

Boil beans

Salted mackerel cut into small cubes. Combine the mackerel with apples, onions, green beans and corn, pour in the vegetable oil and mix.
