Meatballs with gravy as in the garden
Wonderful gentle meatballs with gravy, as in a kindergarten, will remind you the taste of childhood.
Minced meat – 400 g
Rice – 100 g
Onion – 1 pc.
Egg – 1 pc.
Tomato paste – 1 tbsp.
Sour cream – 2 tbsp.
Flour – 3 tbsp.
Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp.
Salt – to taste

Who does not remember the wonderful meatballs that fed us in kindergarten? Our mothers and grandmothers also cooked meatballs for us with sauce, as in the garden, it was very tasty. Delicate meatballs with a thick gravy (sauce), cook quite easily. Let us also please our children.
Take the food in the list. Take tomato paste without additives, sour cream – any fat content.
The first thing we do is to rinse and cook rice (1: 2 with water), add some water. Mince roll with onions, add salt, add egg. Do not overdo it with salt, especially if you have tomato paste already salty.
Mix the minced meat with the egg, add the boiled rice, mix well the minced meat.
From minced meat we form meatballs for about 50 grams. We roll them in flour.
In the frying pan, we warm up the vegetable oil, fry the meatballs on both sides. When frying, do not cover the lid, we need a soft crust.
Tomato paste diluted with warm water, approximately 150 ml. Add to the frying pan. Cover with a lid and put it on a medium heat for 10 minutes.
Sour cream and 1 tbsp. Flour we dissolve in a glass of warm water, so that there are no lumps. Add sour cream to the meatballs, put out for 5-7 minutes under the lid.
Meatballs with sauce, as in the garden, are ready. Invite your relatives to the table, serve hot meatballs with your favorite side dish or simply with fresh vegetables. Dense gravy, tender tee-tails will remind you of the taste of childhood.
