Stew duck with sauerkraut. A wonderful combination! Suitable for dietary nutrition.

Ingredients

Duck breast – 2 pcs.

Sour cabbage – 300 g

Carrots – 1 pc.

Onion – 1 pc.

Garlic – 2 slices

Pepper fragrant – 3 pcs.

Tomato paste – 2 tbsp.

Salt, sugar, pepper – to taste

Dill – optional

Cooking process

I want to share a simple recipe for cooking ducks. We will cook it with sauerkraut – in my opinion, the most wonderful combination!

Cabbage can be used as canned, and cooked according to its recipe.

To prepare the stewed duck with sauerkraut prepare the food on the list.

Ingredients for stewed duck with sauerkraut

Duck fillets are cleaned from the skin and excess fat, cut into small pieces and fry in sunflower oil. I additionally blurred, because the duck did not want to become soft.

Fry the meat

Onion, garlic and carrots narezhem arbitrarily, add to the meat and fry until the relative softness.

Put onions and carrots

Then we’ll send cabbage, tomato paste and sweet pepper to the kazan. Stew under the lid until the cabbage is soft.

Personally, I love that the cabbage remained sufficiently crispy, so the carcass only 10 minutes. You are guided by your preferences.

Add cabbage and tomato paste

Perch. Solim, if necessary, and add sugar to taste (it neutralizes the sour taste of tomato paste).

Pour in salt and pepper

At the very end, when the gas has already been turned off, add the cut greens (in my case – dill). Mix well.

Stewed duck with sauerkraut is ready.

We serve the dish warm.
