I am glad to present to your attention an excellent marinade for turkey in the oven. There are many marinades, of course, and I like to experiment with them. Shortly before the New Year, I got a recipe for a marinade, which I immediately wanted to try. The result pleased, and I decided to cook a turkey in this marinade at the New Year’s table. Since that time I have cooked so several times, it always turns out to be wonderful, so I boldly share this recipe with you. You can marinate as a whole turkey, and its individual parts. Depending on the size of the bird, the amount of marinade should be increased.
To marinate the turkey for baking in the oven, you need to immediately prepare all the necessary products.
The orange should be thoroughly washed with warm water. Then cut crosswise into 4 parts, then – slices.
Place the pieces of orange in the saucepan, add sugar and pour water.
Put the sauté pan on the fire, bring to a boil and cook for 3 minutes. Then cool the syrup.
In a separate container mix the soy sauce with mustard, squeeze through the press garlic.
Thoroughly mix all the ingredients.
The cooled orange syrup is added to the container with mustard, soy sauce and garlic. Pieces of oranges will also be needed.
Marinade for the turkey in the oven is ready. Any part of the turkey is folded into a mold. Pour the prepared marinade. Top with pieces of oranges. The form should be tightened with a film and sent to the refrigerator for 10-12 hours. A couple of times during this time you can turn the bird in the form, so that it is soaked marinade as best as possible.
Turkey before baking.
Oven to heat up to 200 degrees. Form with turkey cover with foil and bake for 1.5 hours. Then remove the foil and brown the bird to the desired color of the crust.
Here such an appetizing birdie turned out.
