In my family, in which I was born and grew up, bread is not bought in the store, my mother bakes it herself. I try to keep this tradition, but with all my desire it does not always work. But when this opportunity arises, I use it. Every time I try to experiment and prepare bread according to different recipes.
The recipe for jelly bread surprised me with its simplicity in cooking. Traditionally, bread is made with dough, kneaded, staked and then baked. For jellied bread, this is not necessary. You can cook it and do not even stain your hands with flour. It turns out the bread is very tasty with a thin crispy crust and soft porous crumb. I hasten to share the recipe with you.
Prepare the necessary ingredients for the preparation of jellied bread.
Pour sugar and yeast into warm water.
Stir and leave for 10 minutes to allow the yeast to start working. Should appear a frothy hat.
Add salt and sifted flour.
Use a spatula or a spoon to knead the dough.
The dough should be homogeneous and sticky, in consistence – like thick sour cream.
