We prepare a budget dinner – potatoes, stewed with sausage in a cauldron.
Ingredients
Potatoes – 6-8 pieces.
Onion – 1 pc.
Garlic – 2 slices
Carrots – 1 pc.
Sausage boiled – 300 g
Sweet pepper – 3 pcs.
Salt, pepper – to taste
Dill – to taste
Cooking process
In my opinion, braised potatoes with sausage are a dish invented by the housewives in the days of perestroika, when there was nothing in the shops, and the family should be fed. Actually, there was no real sausage. Sausage then “get it.” And if lucky, the landlady “got it” simple product, then – hooray, it will be quite tasty and hearty dinner!
When cooking potatoes, I used Svan salt. If you have one, be sure to take this opportunity: it is very well combined with potatoes!
To prepare stewed potatoes with sausage, we prepare the products according to the list.
Vegetables cut and lightly fry in sunflower oil.
Then add the sausage, cut rather large, and again fry.
Then turn the potatoes. Potatoes I advise you to take one that boils well.
Add the water and sweet pepper to the cauldron. Water add as much as you want. During cooking, it will evaporate. If necessary, you can always add it.
Cover with a lid and stew the contents of the pot until the potatoes are ready, stirring occasionally.
At the very end of the preparation, add grated garlic, salt and pepper, finely chopped dill. All mixed and covered with a lid. Let’s brew for 10 minutes.
We serve stewed potatoes with sausage in hot condition.
