Today I again prepare a recipe from my favorite “Hawaiian” theme. This time it will be chicken chops with pineapple and cheese. The recipe is not bad for non-strict diets: chicken breast – meat is not fat, cheese and oils are also a clean minimum, and pineapple is fresh, not from a can, which means it has less sugar than canned. Well, and chili for the acuteness of sensations: Hawaii is with us or not with Hawaii, in the end!
But actually I eat chicken chops with pineapple and cheese not for the purpose of losing weight, but because it’s really very tasty. The main thing – do not overdo (do not overdo it in the oven) chicken. Well, and one more interesting moment is the very “beating” of chops. But let’s get to the point.
Chicken breasts, if they are sold as a whole, consist of two pieces. And the inner, narrow and thin, very easily separated from the outside. For chops, it is not needed (it will also fall off), so we delete it. Another cut off a little more meat from the side where the breast is especially thick. The pieces should be more or less evenly thick.
Lubricate the surface of chicken with vegetable oil, sprinkle with salt, ideally – large-grained.
After that, put the breasts in a plastic bag and make them chops … with a rolling pin! Beat here is not necessary, it is necessary, rather, to press, and very little – to roll out. Krupnokristallicheskaya salt helps us, it also additionally works on softening the structure of meat. After “beating” the breasts should increase by an area of about one and a half times.
With pineapple, remove the core and cut the outer layer.
We cut it into ice-cream pads with a thickness of just over 5 mm. Chili pepper is cut into thin rings.
Oven is heated to 200C.
Lubricate the bottom of the refractory mold with vegetable oil. If the mold is non-stick coating, this operation can be released.
We put the battered breasts with the outer surface upwards into the fireproof form. We put on them pineapple puck.
Sprinkle with cheese, grated on a large grater, and chili.
We bake chicken chops with pineapple and cheese in the oven at an average level at a temperature of 200 ° C with air circulation of 15 minutes.
We get it and quickly eat it.
