Many of the children remember the taste of fish casserole. Both adults and children love it. To cook this dish you can use almost any fish. In the casserole it is used in the form of minced meat or small pieces. Prepare a fish casserole with rice, pasta, mushrooms, vegetables – potatoes, zucchini, cabbage. I suggest preparing a casserole from rice and minced fish. The top of the dish before baking can be sprinkled not only with breadcrumbs, but also grated cheese. In any case, it turns out a fragrant ruddy crust.
To prepare a casserole from fish mince in the oven will need the following products.
Rice boil in salted water until ready, let it cool.
I cleanse my onion, mine, cut into cubes.
In a frying pan in butter, I bring onions until soft.
In the minced fish, add a slightly cooled onion, salt and black ground pepper to taste.
Thoroughly mix stuffing.
In the cooled rice I add an egg.
I mix the rice mass.
The form I grease with a butter, I sprinkle with breadcrumbs (I use 1 table spoon). I use a ceramic mold measuring 22 * 16 cm.
Spread evenly half the rice mass.
Then in the form I spread fish minced meat, I press it a little.
I distribute the remaining rice over minced meat.
I’m preparing the fill. In a bowl, combine the milk, the remaining eggs, a little salt.
Using a fork, beat the fill.
I fill the casserole with a milky-egg mixture.
I sprinkle the dish with breadcrumbs.
I bake casserole from fish mince in the oven, heated up to 190 degrees, to a crispy crust. Usually I bake a dish about 50-60 minutes.
I decorate the dish with fresh herbs.
Hearty and delicious casserole from fish mince is ready!
I cut the casserole into portions and serve it.
